Welcome! My name is Jaew. I am passionate about healing people and helping them improve their lives through massage and healthier habits. I specialise in Deep Tissue Massage and offer a range of different techniques to help with pain and tensions throughout the body of both women and men. I look forward to knowing how I can help you.

I have learnt massage from a young age in both Thailand and England, and hold the current qualifications:
  • Complimentary Therapies Level 2, Bath College
  • Spa Therapy Level 3, Bath College
  • Traditional Thai Massage, Wat Po Traditional Medical and Massage School.
  • Thai Massage Techniques, Chiang Mai & Bangkok
Before establishing myself as a freelance massage therapist in Batheaston and Poole, I worked for 2 years at the 5-star Gainsborough Spa Hotel in the centre of Bath.

I am based in two beautiful and relaxing settings; I spend 3 weeks a month in Batheaston, just a few minutes outside of Bath city centre, and 1 week in Poole near the seaside. I would love to welcome you anywhere is easier for you.

What happens at your first treatment ?
When you arrive, we will sit down and discuss your reasons for booking a massage with me, as well as your medical history. This is for me to give you the best treatment possible and make sure that I do not harm you in any way. Please allow an extra 15 minutes for the first session (not charged) to give us plenty of time to talk. Following our discussion, we will decide on what treatment is best for you together.

Where does the massage take place?

All massages will take place on a massage bed, in a dim room with soft music for maximum relaxation.

What shall I wear?
I will give you a moment alone in the massage room and ask you to remove all clothing except your underwear (for women, I will kindly ask that you remove your bra as well). There will be plenty of towels and blankets to cover areas I am not working on, and I will always strive to allow you to have as much intimacy as you require.

For Sports Massage, how many sessions will I need?
Some body pain can be resolved in one or two sessions of Sports massage, however some pain that have been building up for a longer time due to physical imbalance or chronic tension will take longer to resolve. In these cases three to six treatments fairly close together can make a significant difference. Some problems can be resolved, and some managed, depending on the severity of their nature and how long they have been present.

Is Deep Tissue/Sports Massage painful?

Whilst these massages are not meant to offer you instant relaxation, they are not painful in an unpleasant way. Deep Tissue Massage techniques on blocked or tight areas can feel like a good, relieving 'pain', but it should generally have a relaxing element to it. I would always ask permission before any deeper work. It's always a balance, but for many people deeper pressure massage is ultimately more relaxing and has long term effects as opposed to something light, which is not meant to help you in the long term.
